Someone buys another copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar every 30 seconds. The beloved children’s book has won numerous awards and has been translated into more than 60 languages.


You probably remember its brightly colored illustrations and the holes in the pages from where the caterpillar went on its feeding spree. It may also be where you learned the days of the week and what a cocoon was.
